Obituary of Charlsie Tanner

Mrs. Charlsie ParsonsTanner went to join the Angels on October 11, 2012. She is one of four daughters of Charles and Dessie Parsons, who have preceded her in death. Mrs. Tanner was born on March 4, 1924 in Bessemer, Alabama. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband Frank and two sisters, Dora Norris of Florida and Dorthy Smith of Alabama. Mrs. Tanner is survived by her sister, Billy Grant Dupraw of Carrollton, Georgia; three daughters, Linda (George) Loughman, Dottie (Robert) Someillan and Polly Tanner; five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Tanner relished her time with her family and even enjoyed a few pranks with those around her. She was a remarkable woman and will be greatly missed by all who had the opportunity to know and love her. Her family will greet friends at Arlington Park Funeral home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida on Sunday, October 14, 2012 from 3-5:00pm. Her funeral will be held at the funeral home on Monday, October 15, 2012 at 1:00pm with Pastor Mack Grimm officiating..
