Obituary of Charmaine Brandt

Charmaine Faye Brandt (Sherry), 79 of Jacksonville, Florida went to be with the Lord on September 27, 2015. Born in Lebanon, Pennsylvania to Russell Eugene Long and Mabel Agnes Long, she attended Lebanon Valley High School where she met and later married her high school sweetheart and late husband, Dave, and was happily married for 54 years. She found great joy in collecting giraffes, dancing, reading, trips to the mountains of North Carolina, and precious time spent with her family and friends.

She is predeceased by husband, Isaac David Brandt (Dave), and survived by her daughter, Denise Glenn (Peter), siblings Norma Culbertson (George), Shirley Stehman (Ronald), Jean Armstrong (Ronald), Larry Long (Nancy), grandchildren Courtney Rubin (Seth), Brittany Broussard, Zachary Glenn and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial and celebration of her life will be held at Brookdale Southside Retirement Community (formerly Carriage Club of Jacksonville), 9601 Southbrook Drive, Jacksonville, Florida, 32256 on October 17 at 1:00 p.m. Reverend Robert Bailey will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
