Clifford Henry Stern Sr. -96 yrs. old, died in his sleep on Jan. 7 ^th , 2018

Mr. Stern was born in Carlstadt, New Jersey on February 12, 1921, Jacksonville resident since 1963.

Mr. Stern was a founding member of Christ Community Church and a member of several Methodist Church's. Mr. Stern did many jobs in his life from Edwards Air Force Base-Research and Development for the Space Program, Western Auto, Fidelity Sound and Montgomery Wards. He volunteered with his wife at Taylor Manor, Taylor Care Center and UCOM, He worked 20 yrs. for the Supervisor of Election.  He is preceded in death by his mother & father Arthur and Edna Stern, three brothers Arthur Jr., Kenny and Donald, two sisters Gloria and Muriel and son-in-law Jerry Stringfellow.

Survivors include three children Cliff Stern Sr. (Paula), Robert Stern (Gail), Cheryl Spencer (Mike), 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren and many extended family members. Viewing will be at Arlington Park Funeral Home Friday afternoon from 12-2 January 19 ^th and graveside funeral will follow viewing Arlington Park Funeral Home/Cemetery on Lone Star Rd.
