Claude "Buddy" Orr Walker, 73, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016. Buddy was born April 10, 1943.

He served in the US Army stationed in Germany and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. He retired from being an owner/operator of Walkers Carpet Care in 2011.

Buddy is survived by his wife of 53 years Dorothy "Dot", children Mike (Sharon), Teresa Lind (John) and Brian (Ramanda), grandchildren Kaley Smith (Parker), Cameron, Gage, Corbin, and Holland, siblings Carole, Melinda, Cathyrn "Cathy" and Robert "Tommy". Buddy is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Marie Walker; son, John and sister, Mary Ann Shaw.

A memorial service will be held at 11am, Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to the Jacksonville Humane Society.
