Obituary of Cobertha Davenport
Cobertha Davenport, 72, passed away August 22, 2008. She was born in Unadilla, Georgia, loved to shop, was a great cook and a devoted member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church. Ms. Davenport was preceded in death by her only son, Robert Lee James, who passed away January of 1999. She is survived by her granddaughter Kiya James and her children, Kiyanna and Kimani; and her granddaughter Ayanna Summers (Jack) and her children, Hakeem and Hasson. A homegoing celebration will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at 7:00p.m. in the chapel of Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road.
