Obituary of Conrad Gross
Conrad Veenstra Gross, 87, passed away quietly early Wednesday morning, May 23, 2007. He is remembered as a loving husband, devoted father and caring friend to all that knew him. Conrad was born on November 3, 1919 in Paterson, NJ, the son of the late John Gross and Rose Veenstra. Conrad was a World War II veteran. He taught for the Duval County School District for 23 years where he retired. He was also a world traveler; he traveled over 80 countries during his lifetime. Conrad is survived by his wife of 61 years, Elaine Waters Gross, and son Bradford Gross.
