Curtis Lane Denard, Jr. age 64, lost his war with cancer on the morning of November 9th, 2014, surrounded at home with love. He was born to the late Curtis and Hazel Denard in Jacksonville on October 20, 1950.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Susan Richardson Denard; daughters, Kimberly Layne, and Holly Elizabeth (Michael Califano); sisters Carole Kemp and Barbara Royce (Dale); brother Mike Denard (Joan); and a huge extended family of aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

His career as a Journeyman Plumber spanned 40 years ending prematurely because of his illness. He was an avid outdoorsman; enjoyed hunting, fishing, and fellowshipping with his friends especially around a campfire.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL 32211. The family requests donations to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida in his honor in lieu of flowers.
