Cynthia "Cindy" Ramey Gideons, a cherished mother, sister, and friend, passed away on December 10, 2024, in her hometown of Jacksonville, Florida. Born on September 1, 1958,  Cindy spent her life surrounded by the warmth and love of her family and friends.

Cindy was known for her tenacity, creativity, and direct approach to everything in life-she had spunk. Above all, Cindy enjoyed dancing, games, and lively conversations with family around the back porch table.  Her passing leaves an irreplaceable void in our hearts. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Cindy was preceded in death by her devoted parents, Jack and Jean Ramey. She is survived by her loving sister, Karen Baumann, and brother, Mike Ramey. Cindy's legacy lives on through her three children: Jeremy Poertner and his wife Emma, Laura Quinlan and her husband Jason, and Lisa Evans and her husband Matt. Her grandchildren, Alexis, Autumn, Dylan, Avery, Jase, Ethan, Aubrey and Sophie, along with her two great-grandchildren, Aleah and Kobe.
