Daniel V. Bright, 72, of Jacksonville FL died on October 10th, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. He was born on February 12th, 1951 to George Reed and Sally Elizabeth Bright in Marion, NC.

He married his best friend, Patricia (Pat) Bright in 1974 and they had four children, Kevin [Kelly], Melissa [Dan], Grant, and Natalie, two grandchildren (Benjamin and Ella) and two step-grandchildren (Hunter and Emily).

Danny worked as a carpenter who could build anything and fix what the rest of us broke. He was an avid deer hunter and could often be found watching NASCAR, gardening, or whittling.

Danny is survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, JV, James, Bill, and Bobby.

Visitation and funeral services will be October 20th at 10:00am at Arlington Park Cemetery in Jacksonville, FL. He will be laid to rest with graveside services in Marion, NC at 11:00am on October 23rd
