Daniel W. Roberts, 96, Keystone Heights Florida, passed away peacefully at home on June 23 2026, with his loving wife June by his side. 

Born May 19, 1930 in Tampa, Florida, Daniel lived a very long and colorful life. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for 2 years. He was a talented artist and after military service he went on to work across the nation as a commercial artist and sign painter. He also created beautiful paintings of landscapes as well as portraits. His travels included almost every state including Alaska, and they lived for many years in Palmar Norte, Costa Rica in Central America. 

Daniel was preceded in death by his daughter Sonja. 

He is survived by his wife of 76 years, June Ann Ortaliz Roberts, his children, Zernon (Tomoko) Roberts, Danna Bradford, (Michael), Lavena Hill, Linda (Don) Hall; his grandchildren, Luis Diaz, Cindy (Floyd) Amador, Jennifer Stowell, Jackie (Jason) Bernard, Nichole Hill, 16 great grandchildren, sister Nell McGowan and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

He will be laid to rest in the Jacksonville National Cemetery on Friday, July 10th at 12:30pm.
