Mr. David Clyatt, age 77, of Starke, died early Sunday morning (01/15/2023) at the Community Hospice in Jacksonville after an extended
illness.
Born January 8, 1946 in Lake City, FL, he was the son of the late Warren Brewster Clyatt and Louise Fralic Clyatt. He lived most of his adult life in Jacksonville, FL before moving to Starke, FL several years ago. He was a retired diesel mechanic that served his country in the National Guard. He was an active member of New Beginnings Apostolic church in Lake Butler, FL and enjoyed hunting and fishing throughout his life.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 8 siblings, Iris, Franklin, Ruth Jean, Ivin, Betty Jane, Charles, Warren and W.B. Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Slayton Clyatt of Starke, FL; 1 daughter, Mistie Anderson and her husband Carl Anderson of Lawtey, FL; 1 granddaughter Davenna Miranda and her husband Andrew Miranda of Jacksonville, FL; 1 great grandson, Anthony Miranda also of Jacksonville, FL; 3 sisters, Nancy, MaryLou and Yvonne of Lake City, FL; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A funeral service will take place Friday morning (01/20/23) at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Arlington Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Carmody officiating. Graveside service will follow at Arlington Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends and family on Friday one hour and half prior to the service at the funeral home.
