David "Dave" D. Hubbard

David (Dave) D. Hubbard, 74, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away Wednesday, August 17th at Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside Hospital with his loving family by his side.

Dave was a kind, faithful and loving husband to his wife of 54 years, Debbie, his high school sweetheart, as well as an amazing father to their children Tina and David Jr.

Dave was born in Hackensack, NJ in 1948. He grew up with his siblings in Wall Township NJ and graduated from Wall Township High School in 1966. Shortly thereafter Dave enlisted in the United States Air Force where he bravely and honorably served his country in Vietnam.

In 1991, Dave, Debbie and their family moved to Jacksonville, Florida to begin the next chapter of their lives.
Dave worked as a Facilities Manager for 15 years at ADT Security. After 15 years of service, he retired from ADT.

Because of their love for animals, Dave and Debbie began rescuing abused and neglected dogs for Poodle and Pooch where they fostered many animals that soon found loving homes. Dave enjoyed going out and fishing on his boat any chance he had. Dave and Debbie were season ticket holders for the Jacksonville Jaguars from the team's inception.

Dave was predeceased by his parents, Tom and Patricia Hubbard and his devoted grandparents, Ellery and Edith Bogert, his mother-in-law, Peg Robinson and father-in-law, Charles Robinson.

Dave is survived by his loving wife Deborah, his daughter, Tina Hubbard-Fete and son, David Hubbard Jr. Also, his son-in-law, Kenny Fete, grandson, Christopher Youngman and his wife, Meagan, granddaughter, Victoria Hubbard-Fete, great-grandson, Owen Youngman, and great-granddaughter Leia Youngman.

Dave is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Craig (Donna), Lynn, Wendy (Bill), Lisa (Ron), Susan, and Mark (Mece).

Funeral services will be held at Arlington Park Funeral Home 11:30am, Monday September 12, 2022, 6920 Lonestar Rd, Jacksonville, Fl. 32211.
Dave will be laid to rest at Jacksonville National Cemetery at 2:00pm, 4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, Fl 32218.
