David Wesley Thies, 68, of Jacksonville, FL passed away July 21, 2022. He was born to Mr. and Mrs. Wesley R. Thies on June 4, 1954. David was predeceased by his parents and big sister, Susan Thies Rowe. Loving survivors include his daughters Jennifer Dicks (Eric Reeves), Amanda Morris, grandchildren Zachary and Zander Dicks, brothers Pete (Barb) and Mark (Cricket) and lifelong friend, Lisa DeAngelis. Dave also leaves behind niece Sarah Fraley (Tim) and nephew Jason Thies (Kati). He was greatly comforted by his loyal companion, Cili who never left his side.

David loved watching football and playing the drums, his silly sense of humor could make anyone laugh. He found great joy spending time with his family, and he will be greatly missed. Hey dad…made ya look!
