Denise Charles, age 62 of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017, after a long illness. Denise was born on February 2, 1954, in San Francisco, California.

She was an avid reader and Florida State football fan and enjoyed serving as Employee Advocate before retiring from the Internal Revenue Service.

She is survived by her husband, Nick Charles, a daughter, Stacie Keller, granddaughter, Kayla Charles, grandson, Sebastian Keller and two sisters, Victoria Bischof and Regina Pyritz.

A private viewing will be held for the family at Arlington Park Funeral Home.
