Obituary of Donald Porter
Donald William Porter, 92, has passed away after a short illness. He is survived by three children, Jackie, Gail and Frank; 4 grandchildren, Donald, Derek, Aaryn and Ryan and 5 great-grandchildren, Cassidy, Casey, Riley, Sienna and Dylan. Mr. Porter was a veteran of WWII and moved to Jacksonville in 1955 and retired from Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. He was a member of the Lions Club and American Legion. Services will be held at Grace Lutheran Church 12200 McCormick Road, at 11:00am on Tuesday, March 2, 2010. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida McGraw Center, 4715 Worrall Way, Jacksonville, Fl 32224 or to Grace Lutheran Church, 12200 McCormick Road, Jacksonville, Fl 32225
