Doris Mae Creel was born in Lakeland Florida on May 22, 1922. Doris passed very peacefully on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at the Hadlow Community Hospice Center at the age of 99. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Roscoe Alvin Creel Sr. Doris is survived by her sister, Velma H. Creel; three children, Patricia Ann Wilkes (Wayne), Roscoe Alvin Creel Jr., and John Alton Creel (Anita); and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Doris was a longtime member of Southside Assembly of God and New Life Christian Fellowship. She was a loving wife and dedicated mother. Doris was a dedicated Sunday school teacher and worked in the Day Care nursery at Southside Assembly. She loved sewing and reading when she had the time. Doris was a very kind person and did not have an unkind word to say about her fellow persons.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Arlington Park Funeral Home.
