Doris Catherine Griner, also known as "Memaw", passed away on January 7th, 2024 at the age of 99.

Doris was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

Memaw was a vibrant and joyous individual who loved parties and celebrations. Her family, and close friends she considered family held a special place in her heart and she never missed a birthday.

In her professional life, Doris worked as a cosmetologist for over 40 years, using her skills and creativity to make others feel beautiful.

Doris is survived by her loving children: Cathy Thompson (Ed), Barb Gain, and Jack Griner (Patricia). She will also be deeply missed by her grandchildren: Shannon Wirth (Paul), Jay Griner (Stacey), Step-grandchildren: Josh Cox (Lindsey), Eric Cox (Rachelle), Shawna Mansfield (Alex), Jamie Thompson, and Stephen Thompson as well as great-grandchildren: Damian (Tiffany), Trinity, Ruby, Dante, Jay Jay, Jenna, Jazzlyn, Haley, Chris (Amber), Morgan, Ethan, and Cammi. Additionally, she leaves behind her great-great-great grandchildren: Damian Jr. and Sam.
