Doris Lewis Jester, 87, departed this earth to be with the Lord and reunited with her husband, Ronald Eugene Jester Sr, on March 25th, surrounded by her family. She was born in Augusta, GA and has resided in Jacksonville, FL since 1961. She is survived by her daughter, Melani Jester Gillen (Joe) and son, Ronald Eugene Jester Jr (Melinda), 4 grandchildren, Shannon Leigh Gillen, Lindsay Ann Hefner, Benjamin James Jester and Olivia Hollingsworth Jester, and 5 great grandchildren, Joseph Adam West, Josie Leigh Hoover, Dalton Seth Hoover, Ashton Andrew Hefner and Jessa Rose Hoover. She was a giving person who never met a stranger and touched the hearts of all who knew her.
