Obituary of Doris Roldan-Aprea

Doris Roldan-Aprea, 78, went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, November 15, 2009, after a sudden illness at Memorial Hospital. Ms. Roldan leaves behind her son, Robert Roldan, brother, Fred Flores, daughter-in-law, Zwinda Roldan, her grandchildren, Jennifer Roldan, Aimee Roldan and Christina Roldan, and her great-granddaughter, Alexis Prado. Born and raised in New York City, Doris very much enjoyed living in Tallahassee for many years leaving behind many cherished friends. She eventually moved to Jacksonville where she lived and enjoyed 13 years at Taylor Home and attended church with friends and family at both Spring Glen United Methodist Church and Resurrection Catholic Church. Doris was a very friendly, loving and outgoing person and will be dearly missed by her many friends and family. An evening wake service will be held at Arlington Park Funeral Home on Thursday, November 19, from 6 to 8pm. (6920 Lone Star Road, Jax). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, at 11am at Resurrection Catholic Church (3383 University Blvd. North). Interment will be following at Arlington Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Spring Glen United Methodist or Resurrection Catholic Church.
