Obituary of Dorothy Boyte

Dorothy Mayfield Boyte, 86, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2011 surrounded by friends and loved ones. She was born on January 17, 1925 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Lamar C. Sr. and Eula Mills Mayfield. Dorothy is preceded in death by her loving husband Paul Boyte of 56 wonderful years and brother Lamar C. Mayfield Jr. She is survived by her sister-in-law Isobel Mayfield; nieces and nephews: James (Susan) Mayfield, Dorothy (Doug) McCormick, Kenneth (Diane) Mayfield, Margaret (Steve) Powers and nine great-nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be at Hodges Boulevard Presbyterian Church, 4140 Hodges Boulevard, on Saturday September 3, 2011 at 11:00am. Services will be officiated by Dr. Pierce and the family will have a reception following services at the church. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Hodges Blvd Presbyterian Memorial Fund.
