IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dorothy Elizabeth
Christmas
May 8, 1944 – October 10, 2019
Dorothy Elizabeth Christmas, lovingly referred to as Dottie Lou and at times, "Dottie Who," 75, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2019. She was born on May 8th in Jacksonville, Florida to Anna (Whitney) and Robert Webb.
Dottie thoroughly enjoyed the time she spent in her garden tending to her diverse collection of plants. She not only tended to her plants, but to the hearts of many, from every walk of life. She was known as the matriarch of the family, which included her friends. Many people have said that she had changed their lives with her giving nature, spit-fire personality, and one-of-a-kind sense of humor.
Dottie also loved the sights and sounds of any casino on land or out to sea. Her smile was ear to ear when she was playing her penny slot machines. She appreciated a southern meal from a restaurant that she considered to be at par with what she could cook herself. She was the head chef of all of the holiday gatherings.
Dottie was a perfect mix of southern belle and stubborn red-head.
