Driggers Alexander Prince Jr. "Rick" was at home when in the early morning hours of Friday March 6, 2020 he went peacefully to his heavenly home. Rick was born August 31, 1942 in Greenville, SC to Driggers Alexander Prince Sr. and Virginia Dare Ricketts Prince.

Rick is the oldest of 4 children. After a few years, the family moved and settled in Daytona Beach, Fl where he grew up graduating from Mainland Senior High School. Shortly after high school Rick joined the Florida National Guard and served for seven years. Through various jobs with electrical supply companies he eventually moved to Jacksonville, Fl. Rick loved hunting and fishing but when he came to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior that relationship became his love in life. He joined the believers at University Church and began to serve in the bus ministry and evangelism ministry where he became known as a "Fisher of men". There he met his future wife who has 3 beautiful children, they were married 38 years. He is survived by his wife; Marty, the children: Jeff, Brad and Laurie Taylor, 5 grandchildren and nephews and nieces. He is also survived by 2 brothers and 1 sister; Wayne Prince (Debbie), Fred Prince (Jill) and Kathy Prince.

Rick is thankful to The Lord Jesus for giving him a life worth living and now he has the privilege to thank Jesus face to face.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 12th at Arlington Park Funeral Home. Pastor Frank Cerisi will be the officiant. The family will begin greeting guests at 1:00pm for visitation and chapel service will begin at 2:00pm. Interment will be at Arlington Park Cemetery following the funeral service.
