Dustin Robert Saxon 31, of Jacksonville, died on May 18, 2018. He was born June 4, 1986 in Norfolk, Va., the adopted son of Phyllis and Jerry Saxon. He attended Sandalwood High School and graduated in 2005. He was employed in the restaurant industry. Dustin was a member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop 182. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout after completion of a project at the YMCA of Arlington. Dustin loved camping, fishing, hiking and the beach. He attended Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Dustin is survived by his parents Phyllis and Jerry Saxon and brother Joseph of Kissimmee, paternal grandmother Marie Collins of Jacksonville, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.  Proceeded in death by his maternal grandfather Ted Newman Jr.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday May 24,2018 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel. A service officiated by Father Bodie will be held at 3:00 pm followed by a reception.
