Obituary of Edith Sapp

Edith Loraine Sapp, 82, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2011. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and caring friend to all who knew her. Edith was born on May 2, 2011 in Bennettsville, SC., to the late John and Daisy Cope. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Charles Sapp. She loved cooking and having huge family get together's every time she got the chance and was a hairdresser for over thirty years. Her happiest times were at the beach with the kids. Edith is survived by her daughters Linda, Sherry (John) Rogerson, Carole; grandchildren Tarra, Jonathan, Brittany, Meagan; great-grandchild Hayden; sisters Dorothy, Shirley, Molly, Catherine and brothers along with numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, for a visitation on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and a graveside service on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 11:00am. Interment will follow. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Northeast Community Hospice.
