Edward "Bill" William McInnis, 76, born August 26, 1940 in Lowell, Massachusetts, to Edward J. McInnis and Florence Labonte McInnis, passed away May 21, 2017 in Jacksonville, Florida.

Bill proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1959 to 1963; retired from Shell Oil April 1, 1994 as well as Quest Labs.

Bill was preceded in death by both parents; brother, John (Jack) McInnis; and his wife of 33 years, Emily McInnis.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Taylor McInnis; children, Carole McInnis (Rick); Karen McInnis; Edward W. McInnis, II; Johnny Derringer (Robin); Joey Derringer (Amanda); Mark Whipple (Kelly); 12 Grandchildren; a brother, Bob McInnis (Mary Lou), plus many nieces and nephews most of which are still living in Lowell Massachusetts.

The McInnis family will receive friends for a Visitation Gathering, 10AM, Wednesday, May 31, 2017 in the Chapel of Arlington Park Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will begin at 11AM. A Graveside Blessing will immediately follow at Arlington Park Cemetery. The United States Air Force will be in attendance graveside to render honors in recognition of Bill's service and dedication to a grateful nation.

In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions in Bill's honor to Community Hospice, VFW, Disabled Veterans of America and USO.
