Edward Charles Roberts, 62, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 22, 2018 in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. He was born in Norfolk, Virginia to Irving and Alma Roberts on November 14, 1955. He graduated from Key West High School in 1974 then joined the U.S. Army where he was eventually honorably discharged due to health issues. Regardless, he loved the time he spent in the Military and was proud to serve his country. Edward was a dedicated, hard working and honest man.  He worked as an automotive mechanic for over 40 years and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching Nascar, and playing video games in his spare time. Edward was a devoted husband to the love of his life, Daisy Roberts, since 1978.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Irving L. and Alma Roberts, and younger brother, James L. Roberts.

Edward is survived by older brother, Michael W. Roberts; loving wife, Daisy Roberts, of 40 years; three children, Daisy Y. Chambrot, Tasha L. Chambrot, and Edward L. Roberts; proud grandfather of Kimo S. Bracht Jr., Chelsea M. Smith, and Tristan J. Chambrot-Ceglia; great grandchildren, Kairi S. Bracht, Lillian D. Bracht, and Ashton D. Smith; son-in-law, Clarence S. Jones Jr. and soon-to-be son-in-law James N. Kulbacki.

He will be deeply missed and always remembered.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Edward Roberts's home on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 2PM.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of Arlington Park Funeral Home.
