Elaine Waters Gross, 85, passed away September 17, 2008. She was born in Canajoharie, New York and moved to Jacksonville in 1961. She graduated from Canajoharie High School and Rochester Business Institute, Rochester, New York. She was a medical secretary for 40 years in New Jersey, New York, and Florida. She was a member of the Massachusetts and Florida Society of Mayflower Descendants, the Arlington Womens Club, and St. Paul United Methodist Church. Mrs. Gross was a world traveler having visited over 80 countries. She is survived by her son and daughter-in- law, Bradford and Deborah Gross.
