Obituary of Eleanore Locke

Eleanor M. Locke, 69, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 15, 2009. As a native New Yorker, she lived in Jacksonville for more than 30 years. Eleanor was an advocate for justice to all. She loved her church and was a faithful member. She was a caring friend to all who knew her and a loving mother to Tinkerbell Locke (her dog). Mrs. Locke is survived by one biological son, Raymond Locke, two grandchildren, two children by marriage, Georgianna Parker (Wayne) and Eddie Locke and a multitude of extended family members and friends. Memorial Services will be held at Silver Glyn Baptist Church, 115 Arlington Rd N, Jacksonville, FL 32211 (904) 725-6944, on Friday, June 19, 2009 at 2 p.m. Services will be conducted by Pastor Jerry Henderson Sr.
