Obituary of Elizabeth Wooten
On September 8, 2009, at the age of 86, Elizabeth B. Wooten went to be
with her Lord Jesus. She was born in Brooklyn, NY to Joseph and Elsie
Bardes. After moving to Jacksonville, Florida she married W. Warren
Wooten and resided there over 50 years. She then moved to Midland, TX
and most recently lived in Marietta, GA. Preceded in death by her
husband, twin brother Herbert C. Bardes and her sister Helen D.
Hofmann. She leaves her legacy to two daughters, Bonnie Wagoner
(Ernie), of Marietta, GA; Ginger Neff (Randy), of Midland, TX;
grandchildren, Brian Grigsby (Krisi), of Midland, TX; Brandi Goldston
(Jeff), of Keller, TX; Meredith Underwood (Brad), of Alpharetta, GA;
and Ernie Wagoner III (Alex), of Lawrenceville, GA; Sister-in-law Jane
R. Bardes, of Morristown, NJ along with ten great-grandchildren,
numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. One of Elizabeth's joys in life
was teaching swimming for 42 years. She was the family prayer warrior
and above all things, she was a woman of God. Her wonderful sense of
humor will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation at 9:00 am and a
celebration of Elizabeth's life will be held at 10:00 am, September
12, 2009 at Arlington Park Cemetery and Funeral Home, Jacksonville, FL
