Obituary of Emily Brandt

Emily Ruth Brandt, 88, went to be with The Lord on Thursday, December 4, 2008. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and caring friend to all who knew her. Emily was born on March 6, 1920 to the late James and Ada Hendrix. She is survived by her husband Joe Sr. of 67 wonderful years; sons Joe Jr. (Margueritte), John (Deloris), David, Bill (Joyce); daughter Kay (Don) Reeves; sisters Sarah Malone, Grace Muzzy; sister-in-law Gloria Agles; 14 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephew. Family will receive friends at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, for a visitation on Tuesday, December 9th, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. and a funeral service on Wednesday, December 10th, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Arlington Park Cemetery.
