Emily Jean Greer passed away on September 6, 2023 at the age of 102. She was born to John Heflin and CLara Ruth Daniel on July 8, 1921 in Franklin, Georgia and grew up in Cedartown, Georgia. She married John Greer Sr. on April 26, 1941. They have lived in Jacksonville, Florida since 1960. Together they had 4 kids, John Greer Jr. (Kathy), Danny Greer (Pam), Bobby Greer (Tanya) and Suzanne Greer Edwards (Tom), 7 grandkids, Kelly Whitson (Breshen), Kristy Buck (Ryan), Lacy DePanicis (Matt), Daniel Greer (Lauren), Laura Askelson (Mitch), Bryan Greer, Lindsey McKinney (Mike) and 14 great grandkids and many nieces and nephews. Emily was a long time member of the Arlington United Methodist Church in Jacksonville, Florida and enjoyed singing in the Singing Seniors Choir. She also enjoyed playing solitaire, bingo and adult coloring books. Emily had a nice long life and will be missed by many.
