Enrico D. Gumbayan, age 79, born on April 23, 1946 in Dingle, Iloilo, Philippines. passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carlos Gumbayan; his mother, Lydia Gumbayan and his sister, Herminia Gumbayan Aragon.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Myrna Gumbayan and his loving siblings: Zaida Gumbayan, Rodelia Gumbayan Echevarria and husband Antonio Echevarria, Bob Gumbayan and wife Maria Ofelia Garcia Gumbayan, Danilo Gumbayan and wife Malou Reyes Gumbayan, Jocelyn Gumbayan Hanford and husband Donald Hanford, and Frederick Gumbayan

He is also survived by his children: Enrico Gumbayan Jr., Erica Gumbayan, Zenaida Carlton and husband Marlin Carlton, Gabriel Gumbayan and wife Shayla Gumbayan; and his beloved grandchildren: Chelsea Carroll, Jaiden Gumbayan, Madison Malicoat, Calix Gumbayan, Nevaeh Gumbayan, Sophia Gumbayan and Hunter Gumbayan - who brought him endless joy and were the ultimate pride of his life.

Enrico led with integrity and devoted his life to loving and protecting his family. He was known for his generosity and unwavering devotion to those he loved. Enrico's legacy of love, strength and loyalty will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Arlington Park Funeral Home.

Funeral services, led by Father Steven Stillmunks of Blessed Trinity, will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Arlington Park Funeral Home, followed by burial at Arlington Park Cemetery.

A gathering to honor and celebrate the life of Enrico will be held following the burial at Mill Cove Church, 8510 Fort Caroline Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32277.
