Obituary

Erma Catherine Fry, 95, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born January 5, 1922 in Sacramento, KY to Homer Ezra Rickard and Annel Evelyn Davis.

Erma was active in the Love Snuggles Group at St. Paul UMC crocheting many hats and blankets for cancer patients and baby booties and hats for stillborn babies. She also started and facilitated the Alzheimer's Support Group at St. Paul UMC for the last 14 years. She also sewed, embroidered, and wrote stories. She and her husband, Aaron, square danced for many years and were active in St. Paul UMC.

Erma was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Aaron Walker Fry and her daughter, Pamela Jane Fry.

Erma is survived by two daughters, Sylvia Deanne (Jim) Kenniv, Althea Kay (Eric) Fox, three sons, Thomas Walker Fry, Kevin Aaron Fry and Bruce Edward (Yvette) Fry, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by a sister, Willow Dean Heim and many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
The Family will receive friends Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 5-7 PM at the Arlington Park Chapel.
A Celebration of Life begins at 1 PM on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at the St. Paul's Methodist Church on Lone Star Road in Jacksonville. Interment will follow in Arlington Park Cemetery with a private family graveside service.
