Obituary of Eunice Spencer

Spencer, Eunice C. "Susie", 83, passed away peacefully at home Feb 17, 2010. She was born October 7, 1926 in Guage (Breathitt Co.) KY to Kelly and Dora Hammond Craft. Formerly of Warren, MI and Stanton, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Luther "Jr." Spencer, brother Orville Craft and sister Bertie Sain. Survivors include son Richard Allen (Gail) Spencer of Canton, MI. and two grandchildren, Samantha (Thierry) Mouchet of Brieres Les Scelles, France, and Colin Spencer and his fianc Debra Terry, of Albuquerque, NM. Brothers, Reid Craft, of Houston, TX and Elmer (Florence) Craft of Columbus, OH and one sister, Bessie Risner, of Ocala, FL. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends. She will be remembered as a loving, kind, and gentle woman. She was a member of the Eastern Star. A visitation will be held Friday February 19, 2010, from 3:00-5:00pm at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road. Additionally a viewing will be held at Watts Funeral Home, Jackson, KY on Monday, February 22, 2010 from 10:00a.m. till noon with services following. Interment will be held at Tyra Cemetery, Vancleve, KY. In lieu of flowers please make donations to a charity of your choice.
