Obituary of Eunice Wanda Edwards

Eunice Wanda Wilkison Edwards, 84, of Folkston GA, passed away March 27, 2013 at Hospice of NE FL in Jacksonville, FL after a lengthy illness. She was born October 14, 1928 in Lawtey, FL. She was a long time resident of Jacksonville FL, where she lived most of her life. Mrs. Edwards moved to Folkston in 2009.

She is preceded in death by her parents Bennett L Sr & Geneva A Thomas Wilkison, her husband, Roger W. Edwards, her sisters Lavon Napier, Gloria Rowe and Annette Ford, her brothers Jerry Wilkison Sr, Hubert Wilkison, Charlie Wilkison, Paul Wilkison, Freddie Wilkison, and Benny Wilkison Jr. She is survived by one brother, Donald Wilkison of Jacksonville Fl., along with her two 'sons' Roger L Edwards of Panama, William Kent Edwards of Royal Oaks MD and her two 'daughters' Deborah Arwood of Folkston GA & Sherri Sheering of Jacksonville FL. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and grandchildren.

Mrs. Edwards was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and also a long time member of the downtown Baptist Hospital Auxiliary in Jacksonville, FL.

Visitation will be Monday April 1st from 6-8pm. The funeral will be April 2nd @ 2pm with Pastor Fidel Soto from the Southpoint Seventh Day Adventist Church officiating. All services will be held at Arlington Park Cemetery & Funeral Home 6920 Lone Star Rd., Jacksonville FL 32211 904-724-6384.

The family will receive friends and family after the funeral @ the home of Debbe & Chuck Arwood in Folkston GA.
