Obituary

Everett Britton 'Brit' Prescott went to be with the Lord on September 14, 2018.  He was born on January 6, 1930 to John Everett Prescott and Leetie Virginia Crews in Charlton County, GA.

Brit served in the U.S. Army and retired in 1989 from the Duval County Road Patrol and the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office after 30 years of service.

Brit was preceded in death by both of his parents and his beloved wife, Lillian R. Beauchamp Prescott.  He is survived by daughters, Becky Kolb, Sharon Danner-Lee (Joe) and Lori Jones (Steve); grandchildren, Robin Collins (Chris), Troy Lee and Kristen Jones-Gazdick (Patrick); four loving step-grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; sisters;  Manda Lee Johns, Janie Voight and Linda Kilis (Milton) and many other loving family members.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 9am-10:30am in the Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral services will start 10:30am with Pastor  Clarence Jarrell officiating. A Committal Service with Police honors will commence immediately following the service at the Arlington Park Cemetery, 6921 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL 32211.
