Obituary of F. Blade

F. Reese Blade, 88, passed away September 15, 2008. Reese was born September 30, 1919 in Laurel, Mississippi and served his country during World War II with the U.S. Army. He was a faithful member of Celebration Baptist Church, a devoted husband, loving father and a wonderful grandfather. Reese is survived by his wife of 57 years, June Blade; daughter, Janet Hyman; son, Graham Blade; grandchildren, Michelle Hyman, Ashley Hyman, Christen Cavin, Taylor Blade and Mitchell Blade. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00a.m. Friday, September 19, 2008 in the chapel of Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road. Interment will follow in Arlington Park Cemetery where military honors will be rendered. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6-8:00pm at the funeral home.
