Obituary of Fairest Cowart

Fairest Glen Cowart, 71, passed away surrounded by his family in St. Augustine. He was a veteran of the United States Navy after 20 years of faithful service as a machine repairman. Glen served in the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, an avid square dancing partner and was a proud licensed message therapist. Glen was a loving husband, brother-in-law and devoted friend who will be missed dearly by those he knew and loved.

Glen is survived by his wife of 43 years, Ruth Cowart; aunt Sarah Smith of Callaway, Fl.; sister-in-laws Patty (Wayne) Sheppard and Sherry (Sonny) Williams; God daughter and great niece Tiara Fritchey and many adoring nieces, nephews and cousins who will mourn Glens passing.
