Filomena Bernadette Decio, passed away May 3, 2019, at age 69.
She was born in Italy, January 15, 1950, and came to the United States at age 3.
She grew up in N.J. and there met her beloved husband of 31 years, Nicholas Decio.
They had one daughter together, Donna Marie Decio.
Together they were successful entrepreneurs and wonderful, loving parents.
She was a self-taught gourmet chef in her restaurants, and loved to cook.
They moved to Jacksonville, FL in 1989.
Filomena leaves to cherish her memory; her adoring daughter Donna, son-in-law Bill Burke, grandson Matthew, long time companion love Gary and her best friend Buddy, and friend Jo.
Surviving three Brothers: Pete, Olindo, and Mickey Verrillo and their wives, deceased brother Mario, and four surviving Sisters: Joanne, Annie, Delores, and Dina, and their families, and many nieces, nephews, and many great-nieces and nephews. Her sister-in-law Anna, brother-in-law Tommy, and step-son Nicky, and the rest of her family in FL, NJ, Canada and Italy. As well as all of her dear friends, near and far, and on Facebook, all of who will miss her dearly. There will be a Memorial Service held at Arlington Park Funeral Home in Jacksonville, FL, and one this summer in NJ,
