Florence Louise Moore, 100, passed away peacefully at home on July 22, 2021.  Florence was born on May 22, 1921, in High Springs, Florida to the late George and Margaret Butler.  She retired after many years for NCR (National Cash Register).

Florence was a talented artist and shared many of her beautiful paintings with her friends and family.  She enjoyed traveling, playing bingo, reading, and spending time with her Family. She enjoyed doing something adventurous on her milestone birthdays; riding a dune buggy on her 70th, taking a ride on a jet ski on her 80 ^th , and taking a hot air balloon ride on her 90 ^th , just to name a few. Florence will be remembered for her gentle, compassionate, and loving spirit.  She will be dearly missed by her loving Family.

Florence was predeceased in death by her husband Leonard Moore, son David Ayers, daughter Gayla Hunter and stepson Randy Moore.

She is survived by her Children: Sonya Soniat (Perry) of Slidell, LA, Melvin 'Corky' Ayers (Tricia) of St. Augustine, FL, Annette Watson (Mitch) of Jacksonville, FL, Ronald Ayers (Michele) of St. Augustine, FL; Step-Children: Sherry Schneider of Jacksonville, FL & William Moore (Elise) of Keystone Heights, FL; Grandchildren, Lisa Randall, Gary Ayers, Mischelle Ayers, Michael Ayers, Joshua Johnson, Daniel Watson, Steven Ayers, Ronald Ayers, Jr, Ray McKelvin, Nick McKelvin & Kayla McKelvin; Step-Grandchildren: Allison Maglica, Lauren Cohen, Chad Moore, Amanda Hall, Lisie Caton, Billy Moore, Laura Baker, Laurie Davis, 36 Great-Grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Florence's funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 27 ^th at 1:00pm at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32211, officiated by Pastor Jerry Fitch. Visitation will begin at 12:00.
