Obituary of Frances Ramsey

Frances Wolfe Ramsey, 86, born September 25, 1928 in Columbia, South Carolina to William and Sidell Felder Wolfe, passed away January 17, 2015 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was a long time resident of Orange Springs, Florida and the Island Lake community. Frances was a member of Orange Springs Civic Assoc., Orange Springs Community Church, Homemakers Assoc., Red Hats, and Jax. Outboard Club (JOCA). Frances loved to quilt, garden, dance and cook for her family. She was preceded in death by her husband James C. Ramsey. Frances is survived by; (Son) Jim Ramsey of Orange Springs, Fl., (Daughters) Bonnie Seifert, Vicki Boling, Norma McNulty, Donna Housand of Jax. Fl., 7 Grand children and 11 Great Grand children. A visitation is scheduled 6PM-8PM, Thursday, January 22, 2015 in the chapel of the funeral home. A Celebration of Life will be held 1PM, Friday, January 23, 2015 also in the chapel of the funeral home. An interment will immediately follow at Arlington Park Cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida. A brief Memorial service will be conducted during proceedings Sunday morning February 1, 2015 at the Orange Springs Community Church 11AM (George Scott presiding).
