Obituary of Frances Underwood

Frances R. Underwood, 80, passed away May 31, 2009. She was born November 14, 1928 in Jacksonville and was a lifetime resident of the Jacksonville area. Frances was a member of Kernan Blvd. Baptist Church and enjoyed playing the piano and spending summers in Georgia. She is preceded in death by her son, Roland Underwood and is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Edwin R. Underwood; daughter, Karen Campbell and her husband George Van Campbell; grandchildren, Derek and Joanna Campbell; sister, Florence Pintello and her husband Frank as well as many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at Arlington Park Funeral Home from 5:30 to 7:30pm. A Homegoing Celebration will be held at Kernan Blvd. Baptist Church on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 10:00am. Interment will follow in Arlington Park Cemetery.
