Francine Douglass "Meme" - went to be with Jesus on September 15 2021. She was 61 years young and she lived everyday with joy. After a battle with Covid and Diabetes, her body became very frail, tired and weak. But we all know she was more than happy to join our Lord in Heaven.

She was preceded in death by her parents Franklin and Louise Maloy "Pop and Lou". She leaves behind her sons, Frankie (Rhonda) and Norman (Jessica); daughter, Denise (Sport); and her adopted daughter, Francine (Michael). She is also survived by her MOST prized possessions, her grandchildren, her "sweethearts," Mariah, Kynna, Tori, Sierra, Lil Norman, Kaysey, Ava, Charlie, Emma, James, and great-grandchild Rosie.

Francine was a mother to 4, a Meme to 11, and a friend to ALL! She lived her life with one goal….. love everyone . She didn't have much to give, but what she did have, she gave. Meme was a woman who made you feel blessed to meet her. She made EVERY holiday a joy whether she was slaving in the kitchen or wrapping gifts just to make sure EVERY SINGLE PERSON had a present. She was a woman whose fondness of JESUS would make her invincible. She had it pretty rough at times, raising 4 children as a widow but she persevered and now has a beautiful family to leave behind for this big world to enjoy.

Meme was a simple woman with a heart of PURE gold. She wanted only 3 things for herself - yard sales, flea markets and the zoo. She loved going to the zoo to see and feed the giraffes with her sweethearts.

Meme is a lady who left a huge mark on this world. We will forever cherish and honor her memory by living our lives the same way she did every day….with love.
