Obituary of Francis Speiser

Francis George Speiser, 86, passed away August 17, 2010. He was born in Philadelphia, PA and served in the United States Army during WWII. In May 2010, he was awarded the meritorious service medal for his WWII service as a descendant of a confederate soldier by the Robert E. Lee Chapter 2157 of the united Daughters of the Confederacy. He is survived by 4 children, a sister, and numerous children and great-grandchildren. He was foremost a family man. Graveside services with military honors will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 10AM in Arlington Park Cemetery, with Rev. Gary Latherbarrow, officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday August 20, 2010 from 6-8 at the funeral home.
