Gail Langston Goode, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on February 12th, 2025. Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee moving to Jacksonville in 1956. She graduated from Englewood High School and then on to Study Literature, Science, and Arts at Jacksonville University.

Gail was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John E Goode Sr. (1990) She is survived by her two children, Kimberly Goode Young and John E Goode Jr. Also survived by her four grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Goode, Owen Young, Abigail Young, and Chloe Goode, along with her sister, Deborah (Raymond) Thomas. She was born to Mary Frank Langston and Ralph Langston, both now deceased.

Gail was a compassionate and dedicated mother unconditionally being there when needed. She was and will always remain her family's beacon of light. She owned and managed her Interior Design firm along with a Ballroom Dancing business. She enjoyed staying active in the local museums, volunteering as a docent for many years. Gail loved traveling abroad with family and friends to see the world and explore different cultures.

Gail will be greatly missed by her family and those close to her...

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Arlington Park Cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32211
