Gail Phyllis Mellencamp Ray age 60 passed away unexpectedly Saturday October 31, 2020 in Jacksonville, FL Born on May 13, 1960 in Inglewood, California.

Gail loved traveling, animals and spending time with her family and friends.

Gail graduated from Terry Parker High School.  She went to college in Phoenix, Arizona and graduated from The University of North Florida.

Gail is preceded in death by her parents Gale and June Mellencamp, Older Brother Kenny Mellencamp, Nephew John Paulus and Great Nephew Wyatt Paulus.

Gail is survived by her husband: Alan Ray of Homer, Alaska, Sisters: Cathy Fleming (Robert), Candy Paulus (Mark), Brother: Kevin Mellencamp (Debbie), Nephews and Nieces: Sean, Mark, Kerry, Josh and Erin Several Great Nieces and Nephews.

Gail's family and friends are devastated by her sudden and unexpected passing.

A Celebration of Life Gathering is being planned for a later date.
