Obituary of Gene Bennett
Gene Travis Bennett, 79, born October 13, 1933. He went to be with the Lord on August 10, 2013. Gene was preceded in death by his wife Margaret C. Bennett of 45 years and his son Rocky D. Bennett. Gene is survived by his children Marlene C. Joyner, Earl T. Bennett, Terry J. Wing, Steven J. Bennett and Gena M. Maxey; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. Family will receive friends at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, for a visitation on Friday, August 16, 2013 from 9:00am to 10:00am and a funeral service to follow at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Arlington Park Cemetery.
