George Elverson Miller passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025 , at his home in Mandarin, surrounded by his loving family.

George was born on May 30, 1938 , in Charleston, West Virginia, to Hubert and Lilly Miller . He was preceded in death by his brother Kenneth Miller and his first wife, the mother of his children, Myra Sue Miller .

George is survived by his devoted wife, Margarette Miller , and his sister, Jean Kinder . He leaves behind his beloved children: Rebecca Susan DiFiore, Mark Miller , daughter-in-law Julie Miller, Michael Miller , along with Margarette's children, Melissa Crowley , and Miles Benziger (Tonya) .

He was a proud grandfather to Joshua DiFiore, Megan DiFiore, Zach Miller (Pilar), Kyle Miller, Foster Taylor, Wyatt Taylor, Chris Crowley and Samuel Benziger and a cherished great-grandfather to Josh DiFiore, Ryleigh DiFiore, Hayleigh DiFiore, Olivia Taylor, and Grayson Taylor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025 , at 12:00 PM , followed by a service at 1:00 PM at Christ's Church , 6045 Greenland Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32258, in the Mandarin Room.
