Obituary of George Retter

George Retter, age 93, went to be with The Lord on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at St Vincent's Hospital from pneumonia and other complications.

George, an accountant and later a beloved professor at FCCJ leaves behind a wonderful legacy of faith. His modeling of unconditional love and God's grace is profound and will eternally impact those who were fortunate to call know him and be loved by him. Mr. Retter is survived by his son, George Ronald and his wife Dale, and his daughter, Debbie and her husband, Mike. He will also leave behind 4 grandchildren;, Kristen, Ashley, Brooke and Blaine and 4 great grandchildren as well. Services will be held this Saturday at 10:30 AM at St. Paul's Methodist Church and he will then be laid to rest next to his wife, Jane at Arlington Park Cemetery and Funeral Home.
