Mr. Thorne was born on January 8, 1964 and passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2007.
Mr. Thorne was a resident of Jacksonville, Florida at the time of his passing.
George graduated from Gulf Coast Community College.
He is survived by his wife Sandy.
George's celebration service will be held on Monday, December 10, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fellowship @ Celebration Baptist Church, 13720 McCormick Road, Jacksonville, FL 32225, (904) 220-2727. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Graveside services will be held at Arlington Park Cemetery immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, family and friends are invited to contribute to a trust set up for George's beloved son, Steven. Checks should be made payable to Celebration Baptist Church, noting "Thorne Trust" on the memo line.
